Connection & Belonging
October is Mental Health Month in NSW. Secura is highlighting connection and belonging as practical foundations for wellbeing — helping people feel seen, heard, supported and more confident reaching toward safe relationships and trusted help.

Australians aged 16–85 experienced a mental disorder in the previous 12 months.
Of young people aged 16–24 experienced a mental disorder in the previous 12 months — the highest prevalence of any age group.
Of children and young people in the NSW OOHC study who were already in the clinical range for socio-emotional wellbeing at Wave 2 were still in that range around 10 years after first entering care.
